Filip Leu is a tattooer and painter,  famous for his artistic spontaneity and blending of surrealism and psychedelia.

A third generation artist and born in Paris in 1967, he is the son of Felix and Loretta Leu and grandson of artist Eva Aeppli, sculptor Jean Tinguely’s first wife.

Filip grew up ‘on the road’ traveling the world. With his parents he founded the Leu Family’s Family Iron Tattoo Studio & Museum in Lausanne, Switzerland in 1982.
